North Carolina

North Carolina cosmetologists, manicurists, estheticians, and teachers are required to complete 8 hours of CE every year, and you can now complete all 8 hours online (this change was effective April 1, 2012). All of the North Carolina online CE classes on this web site meet the new CE requirements put in place by the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners, and will count towards your license renewal. CE providers no longer report your CE hours to the state. The new rules now require you to maintain records of the CE classes that you complete, including the course title, description, date, and number of hours earned. It is important that you save this information in case you are audited by the board. We have included all of this information on your certificate of completion to make it easy for you to have everything you need on once piece of paper. We also maintain records and will support you if you are audited by the board. Questions? – give us a call at (608) 235-2622 or click here to send us an email and we would be happy to help.
