Payments Accepted
Online training must be paid for using a credit or debit
card. You will be able to pay after you create an account
and sign up for the class. You certify that you have the
authority to use the credit or debit card that you enter.
Training Supplied
HairDirections will supply 6 hours of online training that
fulfills the continuing education requirements in Wisconsin
(not for any other states) for cosmetologists, barbers,
manicurists, barbering and cosmetology managers, and
estheticians (for the March, 2011 license renewal). Click Here to see a
detailed description of the course. All 6
hours of this training must be completed on a computer.
Each individual must complete the entire online course
before they will receive a digital copy of their certificate
of completion indicating they have fulfilled the WI CE
requirements. The online training will normally be available
approximately 24 hours each day. However, events beyond the
control of HairDirections, system maintenance, and/or system
upgrades may cause the online training to occasionally be
temporarily unavailable or run slower than normal. You
must complete your class within 2 months of your course
registration date.
Registration Transfers and Refunds
Online training registrations cannot be transferred to
another individual. All online training registrations are
non-refundable. Refunds will not be provided for registrants who
do not complete the training; cancel their registration; or
do not have the internet service, computer, or speakers that
are needed to complete the training (see below for equipment
and internet service requirements).
Any coupon codes must be entered at the time of course
purchase and cannot be applied after you have already
registered for a course.
Equipment and Internet Service Required
Online training registrants must
have a reliable computer with reliable high-speed internet
access capable of continuous download speeds of 700 Kbps or
greater. They must also have reliable speakers OR a port
where headphones can be used to hear the training audio.
Almost all DSL internet through your phone line and cable
internet services should be much faster than you will need.
Dial up internet (where you can hear the phone dialing when
you connect) is not fast enough. If you have questions
about your connection speed, contact your internet service
provider and they should be able to tell you your minimum
connection speed. Registrants are entirely responsible for
paying for their internet access service and any fees that
may be associated with data download overages above and
beyond what is included in their normal internet service
package.
Force Majeure
The availability of your training is subject to acts of God,
war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil
disorder, terrorism, curtailment of transportation, or other
emergencies making it illegal or impossible to provide the
online training. HairDirections shall exercise due diligence
and take all reasonable steps to avoid, remove and overcome
the effects of the force majeure event. HairDirections
assumes no responsibility for any expenses incurred by the
registrant(s) in the event the class is canceled due to
events outside the control of HairDirections, Inc.
