Do I have to take a test or complete assignments to pass
this class?
No, you do not have to take a
test or complete any assignments to finish our online class.
However, we will give you a few Code Phrases during the
training that you will need to write down and use to answer
a few very easy questions later. For example, the Code
Phrase we give you might be “The bird is yellow”, and the
multiple choice question that you may be asked is “What
color is the bird?”. If you write down the few Code
Phrases we give you, this will be a piece of cake. The
purpose of the Code Phrases are to verify that people
actually watched the online training videos.

How does the online training work?
The online training is like watching a movie on your
computer. The online controls are similar to that of a DVD
player, where you can stop, pause, and restart the “movie”
at any time. You can also rewind the “movie” if you want to
re-watch part of it. The course is available on demand, at
your convenience 24/7. You can
complete the training at your own pace, one hour at a time.
For example, you can watch an hour one day, come back
a few days later, and watch the next hour. The classes have
rich, engaging content including animated presentations,

after your next license renewal, so make sure you put it in
a safe place. You DO NOT need to send your certificate to

This state-approved course includes 6 hours of the required
Wisconsin continuing education for cosmetologists, barbers,
manicurists, barbering and cosmetology managers, and
estheticians for the March, 2011 license renewal. You will
