The Manager's Program start date and schedule
will be customized to meet individual student needs. Students can complete their
training in 4 to 22 weeks, depending on their class schedule. All students
must have a valid barbering/cosmetology license to be eligible for this program.

This program is taught using the HairDirections
Education Method - a powerful system that focuses on providing students
with the tools and knowledge that they will need to be successful.
Curriculum Summary
The Manager’s Program curriculum was
created by successful professionals with experience in almost every area of the
cosmetology industry including: stylists, instructors, salon owners, corporate
educators, product distributors, platform artists, and business people.

Our school offers expert instruction by
licensed professionals. The Lead Instructor for this program has
successfully managed salons, spas, and cosmetology schools for over 10
years. Rather than teaching general management concepts, much of this
program focuses on management skills, systems, and scenarios that are
specific to working as a manager in a salon or spa. You will learn proven
systems for structuring and managing a successful salon or spa, including:

Take your career to the next
level using goal setting, self motivation, image analysis, and effective
communication skills

Increase your confidence to
effectively work as a manager

Learn how to avoid some of the
common management mistakes new salon or spa managers make

Learn low cost and free
marketing approaches. Tools to help you make better marketing decisions,
and evaluate their effectiveness will also be discussed.

both the contracts you agree to and ask others to agree to could play an
important role in the operation of any business

Introduction to salon/spa

The success of any salon or
spa will largely be determined by the quality of its staff. Approaches
for recruiting, interviewing, motivating, and evaluating the star
employees will be taught.

of Regulation & Licensing policies related to salon/spa management

used to help you better capture and understand the material, including:
independent projects, presentations, videos, hands on computer-based
learning, role-playing, and traditional assignments

of instruction and is designed to prepare students for the WI State
Manager’s licensure examination.
Equipment and Supplies
The Total
Program Cost includes a set of course notes and access to all other
required training facilities, software, books, DVD’s, etc., while
enrolled.
