Our Company

HairDirections is a Wisconsin-based corporation that was created to provide exceptional professional education and consulting services for Salons, Spas, and Cosmetology Schools.  The company was founded in 2003 and has since taught classes around the country in areas such as Milwaukee, Madison, New York, Las Vegas, Chicago, and Atlanta.  Our staff is truly innovative with a long history of leadership and hands-on success in the cosmetology industry.

New Wisconsin Cosmetology Continuing Education Requirements

As you have probably heard, Wisconsin now requires Cosmetology, Manicuring, Aesthetics, and Electrology licensees to complete state approved Continuing Education:  

• A total of 6 hours of cont. ed  instruction is required before your license renewal in March of 2011.  This includes 4 hours of safety, sanitation and infection control and 2 hours of instruction on laws governing your profession

• After March 2011, a total of 12 hours of cont. ed instruction will be required for each license renewal. The same 6 hours listed above plus 6 hours related to the services you provide.

• This training must be state approved
