Are your online classes accepted by the State of Georgia?
Yes, HairDirections is approved by the Georgia State
Cosmetology Board to provide CE training for Georgia Master
Cosmetologists, Estheticians, Nail Technicians, and Hair
Designers (our GA CE provider registration number is
2012-0004). This means that our online classes will count
towards your CE license renewal requirements.

Do I have to take a test or complete assignments for your
online classes?
No, you do not have to take a
test or complete any assignments to finish your Georgia
class. You get to watch fun, entertaining, and
educational online videos (this is because Georgia does not
require an exam for cosmetology CE classes).
How do I
sign up for an online class?
Signing up for an online class is
easy. First you have to create an account, and then you can
sign up and pay for your class with a credit or debit card.

How do the online classes work and what are they like?
The classes are like watching a movie on your computer and
the online controls are similar to that of a DVD player,
where you can stop, rewind, and restart the “movie”
at any time. After you register, the course is
immediately available on demand, at your convenience 24/7.
You can complete the course at your own pace, over
multiple sessions, continuing where you left off when you
return later. The classes have
rich, engaging content including animated presentations,
videos, colorful imagery, music, demonstrations, and narration by Kristin
Allison. The information is
presented using a fun approach, blending humor, practical
information, and various delivery modes to keep things
interesting.

You get to watch a series of
professional, multi-media online videos for the course
package you select; free course notes that you can
view on your computer and/or print; and a certificate of
completion.

What will

We offer several course packages for you to choose from
based on your license type and interests. You can

If I register for a class today, do I have to start it
today?
No, you do not have
to start a class on the same day you register for it
(although you can start it right now if you want to).
Can I start my
class right now?
Yes you can. After you register, the course is immediately
available on demand, at your convenience 24/7.
Do I get my certificate immediately
after I finish the class?
Yes, your certificate will immediately be available for you
to print and/or download after you finish the class.
Do I
have to complete the entire class in one sitting?
No, you do not have to complete
all of the CE hours in one sitting (although you can if you
want to). One of the great things about our online classes
is that you can complete them at
your own pace, over
multiple sessions, continuing where you left off when you
return later.
How
will the state know that I took this class?
You can
immediately download and/or print out
a certificate
of completion when you are finished with the class to prove
that you have completed it. If you are using these CE
hours to fulfill license renewal requirements, you will need
the information printed on your certificate when you renew
your license. Many states require you to keep your
certificate for five years or longer, so be sure to put it
in a safe place where you will be able to find it later if
you are audited.
What do I
need to complete this course?
This class requires a computer with high-speed internet
access. These days, almost all internet services are fast
enough for these classes (DSL internet through your phone
line and cable internet services should be fast enough).
Your computer will also need speakers OR a port where you
can plug in headphones so you can hear the audio that goes
along with the videos. We also recommend that you have a
printer if you would like to print out your certificate of
completion or print a copy of the course notes. If you do
not have a printer, you can easily download a digital copy
of your certificate and the course notes to your computer. You can

Do
I always have to use the same computer?
No, you do not have to use the same computer to watch all of
your videos. You can use any computer and switch between
computers as long as they meet the requirements listed above
under "What do I need to complete this course ?".
After I register and pay for my class, can I cancel it, and
what are the terms and conditions?
You can create an account and log in without any obligation.
However, after you register and pay for a class, you are not
able to cancel your registration or receive a refund.

your classes like everyone else’s classes?
No, our classes are not like
everyone else’s. HairDirections is a premier CE provider.
We have invested substantial resources to bring you fun,
interesting, humorous, and educational materials. The
classes have rich, engaging content including animated
presentations, videos, colorful imagery, music,
demonstrations and narration by Kristin Allison.
How long
will I have to complete my class?
You will have 60 days after you register to complete your
class. However, if you plan to use the class to fulfill CE
license renewal requirements, be sure to complete your class
before you renew your license.
